Bieber, the young success who presently enjoy fame and luxuries to the maximum however never had it all working out for him from birth. As a matter of fact, Bieber was a just an “unknown” lad surviving with his single hardworking mom in his early years.
Early Life
Bieber was born in London, Ontario, and was raised in Stratford, Ontario. Bieber was raised by single mom, Patricia “Pattie” Mallette, who worked tons of stressful low-paying jobs to cater for her little boy and to make ends meet. Bieber was the only child but his parents were never married — though they kept in touch in order to give little Bieber the good life and upbringing.
Growing up with a single mom is certainly a big fit. However, this never prevented Bieber from chasing his passion for music which he discovered from a very tender age.
Despite not being in the high net worth class, Pattie, together with the support of her Mom and Stepfather, struggled to give little Bieber the ideal lifestyle in every little way she could — she gave him a drum kit for his second birthday and Bieber frantically stated in a later interview that he practically banged on everything he could get his hands on.

Afterward, Pattie uploaded the video of the competition to YouTube for the viewing pleasure of their friends and family. Bieber however, continued singing covers of songs by famous artists like Michael Jackson, Ne-yo, etc, after which Pattie would upload them to YouTube. The process continued for awhile and with time, Bieber became an internet sensation.
Career
As a result of the instant fame and lots of fans flocking around him, Bieber was discovered and approached by Scooter Braun, a marketing executive. Braun, who was thrilled by Bieber’s talent eagerly urged him to relocate with him to Atlanta to consider a record deal.
After a little hesitation by Pattie who never lived away from her precious son, she consented and left Bieber in the care of Braun.

In Atlanta, Bieber recorded impressive demo tapes and as a result, he landed before Usher in just a week after arriving in Atlanta. Impressed by his demo tapes, Usher instantly signed the young talent a contract.
As expected, Bieber never failed to impress. While still working on his debut album, he released his first single, “One Time,” which instantly went certified platinum and earned the 17th spot in the Billboards top 100.
Afterward, Bieber proceeded to release his debut album, “My World,” at age 15. Surprisingly for a debut album, singles from the album earned major spots in billboard lists and, the album itself went certified platinum in Canada and US alike.
Bieber followed-up the rapid pace of the album’s success and performed in major live shows to further promote the album.
He never relented. Following the success of his debut album, Bieber upheld his growing fame with his second album, “My World 2.0,” at age 16.
After just two weeks of the release of My World 2.0, a single from the album, “Baby,” charted the 5th spot on the Billboard top 100 list. Baby, which also featured Ludacris, became the most successful of Bieber’s singles and instantly earned Bieber a global recognition.
Not only was Baby topping charts, the album itself was a huge success and played a massive role in propelling Bieber to stardom.
Afterward, Bieber maintained a squeaky image with his massive fan base. He further released more hit albums; his third album, “Believe,” was released in 2012. The album hence contained success singles and collaboration with major artists.
Media backlash and controversy
Being a celebrated world star sure comes with lots of critics from haters and attention seekers alike. From his teenage years of success, Bieber maintained a squeaky image. However, it was only a matter of time before the press caught up with him.
The first notable stain that almost tarnished Bieber’s image was that of a lady who filed a lawsuit on him on the basis that he was the father of her child.
A DNA test, however, proved the lady wrong and the charges was dropped. Bieber went further and released a single titled, “Maria,” relating to the scandal.
Though he survived the first scandal, a string of scandals followed — this includes the scenario where he was recorded yelling “F—k Bill Clinton,” while urinating in a janitor’s bucket.
However, Bieber was quite aware it was simply what comes with the fame. He never gave in to the critics. Amidst the critics, Bieber focused on his musical career and successfully made a big comeback in 2015 with his number 1 billboard hit song, “What Do You Mean?”
What started as a simple YouTube session between little Bieber and his Mom has brought about the creation of a world celebrated musical star.
